Established in September 1988, the China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA) is one of six commerce communities of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. The membership of CFNA exceeds 5000 companies, among which 19 are honorary vice presidents, 55 are members of the executive standing committee, and 170 are members of the executive committee. It takes an important role in the activities such as protecting the interests and lawful rights of its members and of the industry, assisting members to explore the world market, reflecting suggestions and opinions of members and the industry to the government. It also guides members to make sure that their business operation is in accordance with relevant laws, keeps in contact and cooperates with international organizations, organizes companies to respond to antidumping charges, deals with trade barriers as a representative, and is working to satisfy the requirements of the government and its members. In the area of EU REACH, the CFNA has entered into Strategic Cooperation with the REACH24H Consulting Group. With this cooperation, dozens of its members have already completed their EU REACH compliance activities with the support of the REACH24H Consulting Group.
